Remind to save diary every...
All records are automatically saved. However, if power loss occurs, some records might not be saved. 'Remind to save diary every...' will ensure that your records are saved if something unexpected happens.

This applies only if you run ADI-diary.NET on a local computer. Saving database in the Network environment has no effect. If you are running ADI-diary.NET on a Network then deselect 'Remind to save diary every...' check box. You will have more data security if Audit Database option is enabled. Audit automatically saves every transaction.

Audit Database
If Audit Database is on, then every alteration of a record will be recorded into a separate database on your hard disk. Audit Database allows you to see who and when altered or inserted a pupil, a lesson or made any changes.

Prompt to make a backup on exit
Reminds you to backup your diary.

Save database before Screen Saver activated
Automatically triggers 'Remind to save diary every...' function before the screen saver is activated.

Notify if battery power is low
Ignore this option if you run ADI-diary.NET on a desktop PC.

Play Sound
Many operations are confirmed by a particular sound. If you prefer, you can switch the sound off.

Open each list in the same window
Some functions (for example: pupils balance sheet) required to open a window on top of your diary. If this option is off, each balance sheet is opened in a separate window.

Errors Log
Logs all errors into C:\ADI-diary.NET\Common Files\Logs\Errors directory

Allow new strings in Pickup lists
Some fields in your diary have list of multiple choices, eg. Car Model or Car Color. If you enter a new Car Model it will be automatically inserted in the list for later use.

Reset Pickup lists on startup
Resets all pickup lists to the factory settings.

Update Post Codes List
Builds Post Code List for you.

Verbose Status
During data transfer session, displays detailed explanation of what is happening during the session.

Show Saved Images
Shows the image of the pupil you inserted into pupils profile.

Cache lookup tables
Cache Lookup Tables needed only if you have extremely large diary. If your diary is less than 2-3 years old, you can deselect Cache Lookup Tables in Application Options.

Use built-in Web Browser
Switch the option off if you want to use default internet browser
