It is very important that before installation you terminate all running programs.

Please note: the screen size should be at least 1024 x 768 pixels; best performance: 1280 x 1024 pixels or higher.

The installation package is compiled into Windows Installer package (.msi) When the installation program completed, a dialog box appears asking you to launch the program. This will start Borland Database Engine (BDE) installation.

You need to install BDE if

1. Server Module is not present in your setup
2. You need to transfer diary from the older version of ADI-diary to a new computer

Basically, if you purchased Server Module and never used ADI diary before, then you do not need to install BDE. When you create a new diary, only DBISAM option will be available. DBISAM is an award-winning embedded database engine.

If you used the previous version then BDE is already installed on your computer, so you do not need to install it again. However, if you transfer your old diary to a new computer then you need to install BDE

To install BDE at a later stage, please double click on setup.exe which is located on your PC in C:\ADI-diary.NET\BDE Install

Note: Demo version does not install BDE

Please connect your device before clicking Connect

To install or re-install ADI-mini-diary at a later stage, please double click on ADI-mini-install.exe which is located on your PC in C:\ADI-diary.NET\PDA
